Barbette Jensen
Barbette has spent the majority of her life pursuing art. She is an interdisciplinary process-focused artist who is always experimenting with new styles and mediums.
Painting in acrylics early in life and moving to textiles to become a successful textile artist making fabric dolls and artist teddy bears. After discovering resin, she created ocean-themed art on bowls and platters that found their way to a gallery in Pennsylvania. Currently, she is working in the style of the color field artists of the 50s and using stained canvas and a mixture of mediums, inks, and fluid acrylics as her medium. And incorporating a little disco along the way. All of her pieces are titled to give a little nod to the 70s with disco song titles.
